Embracing Uncertainty and Elevating Performance at the Sulphur Springs Trail Race

At The Movement, two standards we like to hold ourselves to are : embodying a healthy lifestyle and embracing uncertainty. These aren’t just ideas we talk about—they’re the standards we live by, train by, and pass on to our community.

This year, those values are on full display as we prepare for one of Canada’s most iconic trail events: the Sulphur Springs Trail Race.

Our 100-Mile Relay Team

Our team features Movement members like Nick, Lauren, Don, and Eli, along with passionate community members who have trained hard to take on a the 20k sulphur springs loop. It’s inspiring to see them stepping outside their comfort zones, embracing new challenges, and showing what it means to lead a healthy, active life. Last year our team participated in the race and had absolute blast running deep into the dark of night.

Will’s Road to His First 50K Ultra

In parallel, we’ve been documenting Will’s build to his first ultra marathon through our Road to 50K YouTube series. Our upcoming episode highlights his peak week, where he tackled his longest trail run to date—40K. His journey has been filled with obstacles, growth, and lessons that reflect what we teach every day: progress requires pushing through discomfort and embracing the unknown.

Why This Matters

Whether it’s injury recovery, performance goals, or navigating setbacks—uncertainty is always present. That’s why it’s so important to ground yourself in healthy habits, strong values, and a support system that encourages you to keep going.

We don’t just train for events. We train for life.

Join Us

The Sulphur Springs Trail Race is happening May 24–25, offering distances from 10K to 100 miles, including a team relay. Whether you’re running or cheering, it’s an incredible chance to witness people pushing their limits, many for the first time.

We’d love for you to be part of it.

In the meantime, follow Will’s Journey on YouTube and stay connected with us on Instagram as we continue to live out what The Movement is all about.

Keep showing up. Embrace uncertainty. Embody a healthy lifestyle.
