3 Reasons to Join The Movement Run Club

Reason 1 - Community

It’s easy to create a goal and say you’re going to do something, it’s another thing to execute on that goal! When you are accountable to a group of like-minded individuals, you’re more likely to stick to what you set out to accomplish. Moreover, having challenges can create a little bit of healthy competition. Although your main reason shouldn’t be driven by your need to win, having some healthy competition keeps things fun and engaging. In The Movement Run Club, we create challenges that are inclusive and celebrate key characteristics that will help you be a successful runner for the long term. For example, our first challenge rewards consistency over intensity. It doesn’t matter whether you do a walk-run, a 10KM run, or a 25KM run, we’re focusing on the completion of 3 workouts a week. When you’re surrounded by people who share a passion for running, it’s much easier to get into running for the long-term. We’re also planning to help connect the group through in-person Movement guided runs, where you’ll get the opportunity to meet other runners all the way from beginner to expert.

Reason 2 - Learning

If you’re in The Movement Run Club, you’re the type of person who’s investing in running for the long-term. We want to help you learn running skills, habits, and a healthy runners mindset to keep you running and improving as long as you like. We post frequently on instagram and some of the content is running related. However, in our running group, ALL of the content will be running related and some of it may not be posted on our instagram page giving you EXCLUSIVE access to content. With the option to gather in person slowly becoming more appropriate, we’re planning to have running meet ups where you can learn from one of our run coaches. These meet ups will be for everyone, regardless of your running skill level. This is an opportunity to connect AND also learn. You may learn a new warmup, running style, or that you’re capable of more than you thought.

Reason 3 - Prizes

We want to motivate you to run! We are always scheming to collaborate with local small businesses and/or creating our own exclusive drop lifestyle merchandise. These lifestyle drops are ONE TIME RELEASES, and we’ll be creating challenges where you can win our merch. This is an opportunity for us to celebrate and embody the healthy lifestyle that we’re involved in and perhaps inspire others to get out and run!
