Perform your best in the mountains

Mountain Athlete Performance

Our team of strength coaches and clinicians is psyched to help you explore the limits of your body and how it performs in the hills.

Clinicians who understand the hills

Ibex Project clinicians recreate in the mountains themselves and understand the challenges of balancing long days in the mountains with work and family demands as well as the seasonal nature of the activities you love. How do you maintain your climbing strength and fitness while guiding long days through the winter? How do you ensure your lower body and aerobic fitness is where you want it to be after a summer of kayaking? Our clinician coaches help you navigate these challenges and overcome issues from past / current injuries.

Injury Management

Our clinical team is able to get your back on track from a new or nagging injury that has been impacting your training and performance in the mountains. Our team of trained physiotherapists and strength coaches understand that rehab is simply training in the presence of injury and our primary goal is to get you beyond your former level of performance.

Custom Performance Programming

We know that creating an annualized training plan is both complex and time consuming and that’s why we get to know your lifestyle, training history, injury history and goals so we can take that burden for you. Using this knowledge we help you achieve your wildest goals!

Seasonal Training Programs

Seasonal training programs for mountain runners, climbers and snowsport athletes. Start your training with off-the-shelf programs that include detailed form videos, foundational education around training principles and access to a community forum to discuss training, goals and gains.

Ibex FAQs

What can I expect during my intake process?

When we connect for your first appointment, you will have completed a detailed intake form that details the type of lifestyle that you live, your injury/training history, and the goals that you have for the future to name a few. Your first appointment is a no-obligation roughly 1 hour long call where we will gather any extra information that we need to about you and we will ensure that we’re a good fit to work together towards your goals. After we decide to move forwards together, you’ll be setup with a TrueCoach account where your remote movement screen will take place, based on this initial movement screen your coach will setup another remote call to dive deeper into any issues that were identified. In conjunction with this information and your individual goals and history, your coach will create an annualized plan to help direct your training at a macro level. Based on this second call you will receive a tailored plan to get you started and address any mobility, stability and strength deficits that were identified.

What do I need for my remote sessions?

Ideally you have a roughly 10’ x 10’ space to move your body, a phone with a small tripod OR laptop, internet access and motivation to take your training to the next level.
